Imbercal, like Clear Books, is an online accounting system. The entry level Clear Books Start-up package offers many advantages over the Imbercal EezeBooks entry level subscription.

Most notable is price. Clear Books Start-up is free whereas Imbercal EezeBooks costs £10 per month. A key differentiator of the Clear Books service proposition is to give small businesses, at no cost, the opportunity to get started in business with an effective financial reporting framework.

Clear Books Start-up is free and enjoys a complete feature list. Imbercal EezeBooks limits its features. In fact, the following features are disabled by Imbercal Eezebooks:

• P&L Summary snapshot
• Full audit trail
• Journal entries
• Add/edit nominal codes
• Trace nominal activity
• Profit and loss summary chart
• Financial accounting reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet)
• Create unlimited user accounts

These features are available in all Clear Books packages including Clear Books Start-up. After all an accounting system that does not provide financial accounting reports is a fairly limited product, in our view.
