- The Pembrokeshire Tea Company LtdWe LOVE Clear Books Viral Website Launched
This week sees the launch of a fresh yet simple marketing campaign for online accounting company, Clear Books, with its new website WeLoveClearbooks.com.
WeLoveClearbooks is a viral website that allows customers to write in up to 100 characters why they love Clear Books online accounting software. The point of the tool is to collect user feedback which is then automatically posted to Twitter, turning the feed into a mini marketing cycle.
WeLoveClearbooks web designer, Matt Fairbrass, came up with the idea for the campaign after reading an article about the importance of getting feedback from customers. Albeit suggestions and requests from customers lead to a company’s development and growth, Matt questioned why users are rarely asked what they love about the product or service they are paying for, “this perhaps can be of even more value to the company than what it is their users dislike – especially when it comes to marketing and selling the product to new customers. Knowing what your users like allows you to identify the strengths in your product.”
“The design itself for WeLoveClearbooks is derived from the iconic 1970s ‘I Love NY‘ rebus created by Milton Glaser. Unlike the original design produced by Glaser, the heart in ‘We Love Clear Books’ is made up of text, which is in fact the names of the companies who are currently using Clear Books, helping to encapsulate the idea of ‘We’ as a collective in the design.”
Clear Books Managing Director, Tim Fouracre, sees the new campaign as a fun and simple way to identify what the users of Clear Books see as the main benefits, “we are always looking for ways to have constant interaction with our customers. Through our various support channels we are aware where we need to improve, but WeLoveClearbooks will help us understand the things we are getting right.”
