Clear Books Shortlisted As Finalists At The Accountancy Age Awards 2010

We are pleased to announce that Clear Books has made the Accountancy Age Awards shortlist in the Software Package of the Year Award 2010.

The Accountancy Age Awards ceremony is now in its 16th year and Clear Books, which only launched in July 2009, is entering the Awards for the first time. Clear Books is very much the underdog in its category compared to the more traditional accounting software providers, some of whom have been entering the ceremony for more than 10 consecutive years.

The real differentiator between Clear Books and the “ususal crowd” is that Clear Books is fresh thinking. Our web based accounting software can be accessed anywhere, anytime and with great flexibility as opposed to the confines of a single desktop installation.

The results will be announced on Wednesday 17th November.

I've always been interested in computers and finance. I started out as a PHP developer and later qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG.

Programming and accounting came together when I co-founded Clear Books online accounting software back in July 2008.
