Account code transaction history
Analysis of general ledger account codes has been introduced. This report allows you to view the activity of individual account codes.
One way of accessing the tool is to view your monthly profit and loss statement or balance sheet. In the example below we are viewing the profit and loss. 
Accounting graphs
We’ve recently added a graph tool that allows you to view a number of graphical representations of your accounting data. You can access this tool by going to Reports > Graphs and then selecting the accounting period and graph type you require.

Xero raises $23.2 million
In a previous post about Xero I alluded to the fact that Xero would need to seriously ramp up paying customers to move into profitability. Xero recently announced a paying customer base of 6,000 with an increase of 3,000 over a three month period.
A capital fundraising of NZ $23.2 million is no doubt a means to partly provide a cushion for their current high cash burn rate. It will be interesting to see what growth plans are in store for the remaining funds.
Multi-currency accounting beta
ClearBooks supports multi-currency invoicing and multi-currency bank accounts. This is an early beta feature. Whereas the core ClearBooks accounting system is still in beta but has been extensively tested, multi-currency accounting is at an early release stage.
We would invite our beta testers to experiment with multi-currency separately from accounts which are actively being used. To enable multi-currency go to the “Settings” menu to turn it on.
