Completing your company details

Steps
1. Navigate Home > Settings
2. Fill in the details of your company
3. Click confirm changes
Company details are stored on the Organisation Settings page together with your invoicing, accounting and system preferences.
Step 1.
Navigate Home > Settings > Organisation.
Step 2.
Fill in your company details; below is a break down of each of the sections that need to be filled in about your organisation.
Contact Details
What The Fields Mean
Type
Select the type of organisation you are setting up Clear Books for.
Industry
Select the organisation’s industry.
Company Number
Enter the company number.
Trading Address
Make sure you fill in your trading details correctly as these will appear on your invoices.
Registered Details
What The Fields Mean
Registered Address
If your registered address is different from your trading address please enter it here. This will appear at the bottom of your invoices.
Manage VAT schemes
This will take you through to the VAT schemes you have set up on the system if you are VAT registered.
Logo, Invoices Preferences And Other Details
What The Fields Mean
Logo
Select your company logo to upload, please note that it needs to be in gif, png or bmp.
Tax reference
Enter your employer tax reference.
Payment details for invoice
Select the default bank account details you would like to appear on invoices.
Sales Invoice Prefix
Enter your preferred sales invoice prefix.
First Invoice #
If you would like to start you invoice numbering from a higher number enter it here.
API
This is where your Clear Books account API key will appear.
Step 3.
Check details are entered correctly and click Confirm Changes.
