How to transfer money from one bank account to another

Steps
1. Select account to transfer from
2. Enter how much money you are transferring and from which account; click explain
3. Check details are correct select bank account to transfer to; click confirm transfer
Below is an example of how to transfer payment from one account to another in which we are going to transfer money from Barclays to HSBC as found in the demo account.
Step 1.
To start navigate Money > Banking > Bank Accounts > Process Money. Then click the transfer button on the account you wish to transfer from.

Step 2.
This will take you to the transfer page where you will be asked to explain where you are transferring the money from.

What the terms mean
Bank Account: Select the bank account you wish to make the transfer from.
Transfer Amount: The amount you wish to transfer between bank accounts.
Description: Description of the transaction.
Bank Date: The date this transfer occurred.
Once you have entered your information click Explain.
Step 3.
This will take you to the manage import page where you will need to select which account to transfer the money to. In our case this is the HSBC bank account.
If you are happy with the above click Confirm transfer. If the transfer is successful, the transfer will be marked as explained, as illustrated in the image below.
