<p>Adding a new client to Clear Books as an Accountant or Bookkeeper</p>
<p><strong>Links</strong></p>
<p>N/A</p>
<p><strong>Steps</strong></p>
<p><strong>1.</strong> Go to the <strong>Partner </strong>section within Clear Books</p>
<p><strong>2.</strong> Select <strong>Add Client</strong></p>
<p><strong>3.</strong> Enter the clients business name and register the business</p>
<p><strong>4. </strong>Invite the client into their account from Home &gt; Users</p>
</div>
<p><span id="more-1225"></span></p>
<p><em>If you are looking to invite a client in to Clear Books please follow the steps below.</em></p>
<p><strong>Step 1. </strong></p>
<p>Go to the <strong>Partner </strong>section within your Clear Books partner account (i.e. the account you set up for your business).</p>
<p><strong>Step 2.</strong></p>
<p>Select the <strong>Add Client </strong>tab.</p>
<p><strong>Step 3. </strong></p>
<p>Enter the client&#8217;s business name</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="text-decoration: underline">Add A Client</span></p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="text-decoration: underline"><a href="http://www.clearbooks.co.uk/files/2009/08/Add-a-partner.gif"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3939" style="border: 4px solid #2DABE0" title="Add a partner" src="http://www.clearbooks.co.uk/files/2009/08/Add-a-partner.gif" alt="" width="488" height="321" /></a><br />
</span></p>
<p>The client will then need to be registered in the same way that all new businesses are registered on Clear Books; by completing standard sign up details such as VAT scheme.</p>
<p><strong>Step 4. </strong></p>
<p>Invite the client into their business.  Select the client&#8217;s newly created business from the drop down box to the top right of Clear Books, then go Home &gt; Users and click <strong>Invite User</strong> to the bottom of the page.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://www.clearbooks.co.uk/files/2009/08/Invite-client-in.gif"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3940" style="border: 4px solid #2DABE0" title="Invite User In" src="http://www.clearbooks.co.uk/files/2009/08/Invite-client-in.gif" alt="Invite User In" width="96" height="27" /></a></p>
<p>The client will now need to except the email invite. Please ask your client to check their spam or junk email box if the email is not in their inbox.</p>
