1. What do you do?
Quilibra is a Euro-African consulting practice that provides skilled, knowledgeable, and highly experienced, consulting, coaching and advisory services. Quilibra works with client organisations in public, private and international humanitarian development sectors.

2. How long has your company been in business?
Since May 2008.

3. What is the size of your company?
2 Directors and 2 Administrators and Associate Directors / Consultants as needed. We use an associate model – so we do not have employees – rather associates that work on specific projects.

4. Why did you decide to choose Clear Books for your online accounting?
Fed up of QuickBooks – which I found expensive; inflexible overly complicated. I wanted something that was simple and just did what I needed and also listened to ideas and was innovative.

5. What were you using before you signed up to Clear Books?
QuickBooks.

6. What were your views on going online with your accounting, prior to joining Clear Books?
Rather concerned about security and also about accessibility. I have a bit of knowledge re: Accounting and ERP systems and was concerned that many systems had been designed for large companies to run internally and nothing for small companies. Also the web based claims were often over engineered and unrealistic.

7. How have those views now changed since using Clear Books (if at all)?
All in all reassured. I know that as companies get bigger and more popular unfortunately innovation and service tend to deteriorate. I hope Clear Books continues to evolve and provide excellent customer care. I am pleased so far but at the moment I am a very small business with small demands.

8. Did you expect Clear Books to work out as well for you as it has done?
No.

9. How has your life and your business changed since you began using Clear Books?
Much easier and quicker to update accounts and have a picture of the business.

10. Which Clear Books feature could you not live without and why?
Uploading bank statements; Preparing invoices quickly and getting them to the clients; Allocating expenses to projects.

11. What are your business plans for the future?
To grow the business in Europe and Africa.

12. How will Clear Books help in getting you there?
Oversee the projects; Work out which are profitable; Invoice swiftly; Manage Cash.

13. If you were to recommend Clear Books to a friend or client, how would you describe us?
An easy to use, secure, web based, business management facility with the essential accounting, cash management and business monitoring tools that you need to run a business and comply with accounting, audit and tax record keeping requirements.

14. How has Clear Books helped you save time?
Centralised the information that I need to manage and build my business as well as deal with all key aspects of accounting swiftly – so I can concentrate more on working with clients not adding up numbers or tracking expenditures.
