1. What do you do?
   My name is Jack Smith; I’m 21 and Managing Director of video training company Mediaroots. Mediaroots produce video tutorials teaching how to use a variety of different software such as Adobe Photoshop or QuarkXPress.
2. How long has your company been in business?
   We’ve been trading for just over a year and a half now, having originally started out working from my bedroom and subsequently moving into offices.
3. What is the size of your company?
   We have a core team of 5 staff.
4. Why did you decide to choose Clear Books for your online accounting?
   I quickly realised when taking on clients as large as Amazon and Adobe that I needed a professional accounting system in place in order to transact with them; previously we had switched between systems such as Excel, but had nothing firmly in place.
5. What were you using before you signed up to Clear Books?
   Excel
6. What were your views on going online with your accounting, prior to joining Clear Books?
   I’d tried things like KashFlow but found them really ugly. I’d never considered having an online solution previously.
7. How have those views now changed since using Clear Books (if at all)?
   I see it as one of the key attributes of my business, that if I want to show a potential investor my accounts, I can instantly share them with them, I don’t need to send them loads of files, I can just add them as a user.
8. Did you expect Clear Books to work out as well for you as it has done?
   It’s evolved into a great product.
9. How has your life and your business changed since you began using Clear Books?
   We’ve grown massively and ClearBooks has grown with us.

    The bank statement import tool, it saves masses of time.
