1. What do you do?
   Help build online business through web design and development.
2. How long has your company been in business?
   Just over two years.
3. What is the size of your company?
   Three employees + freelancers.
4. Why did you decide to choose Clear Books for your online accounting?
   I liked that it was an online tool that I could access from anywhere and that there was really no learning curve as it’s clearly laid out and easy to use. Each company director has their own login with easy access.
5. What were you using before you signed up to Clear Books?
   Spreadsheets!
6. What were your views on going online with your accounting, prior to joining Clear Books?
   We try and achieve a paperless office (or as close to it as possible) so we were searching for an online tool like Clear Books.
7. Did you expect Clear Books to work out as well for you as it has done?
   We were hoping it would!
8. How has your life and your business changed since you began using Clear Books?
   Clear Books makes it easier to keep the accounts up to date when I’m working out of the office. It also allows us to see the bigger picture by viewing the reports and graphs and to see where we can cut down and where we might be able to improve.
9. Which Clear Books feature could you not live without and why?
   Having the VAT we owe HMRC calculated by the click of a button. This saves alot of time as I used to have to do it manually.
10. What are your business plans for the future?
    To continue refining our craft in creating simple usable websites and web apps for our clients and hopefully launching our own web app. We may grow the size of our team slightly to meet demand, although this is not out primary concern.
11. How will Clear Books help in getting you there?
    Clear Books will help us budget for development time and give a snapshot on which projects bring in the most revenue so we know where to focus our energy.
12. If you were to recommend Clear Books to a friend or client, how would you describe us?
    Straight forward bookkeeping, which you can access anywhere with an internet connection.
13. How has Clear Books helped you save time?
    No more switching between spreadsheets and trying to produce reports and graphs in Excel.
14. Why would you recommend Clear Books to people in a similar trade to you?
    Many companies in our industry are already familiar with using web apps and keeping data in the cloud so it would make sense to do this with bookkeeping.
