Explain a bank transaction made up of multiple payments

Steps

  1. Navigate to Manage Money page.
  2. Explain the different payment amounts within the transaction.
  3. Repeat explanations for each part of payment until the whole transaction is explained.
  4. Click create transaction button and check that the transaction is approved.

Below is an  example of how to explain a transaction which is made up of multiple payments. In this example we will be explaining £90 which is made up of three different payments.

Step 1.

To start navigate to “Money > Banking” and click on “Money In / Out”.

What the terms mean

Bank Account:

Select the bank account the payments are being made into.

Money In/Out:

Enter the amount of the transaction you wish to divide.

Bank Date:

Enter the date this transfer occurred.

Once you have  entered your information click “Explain”.

Step 2.

Once in the explain money page enter the amount in, so for this example we are dividing a transaction of £90 into three payments.

On this screen the two key points are who the payment is from and for how much (highlighted). After you feel the data you have entered is correct click the “Add Transaction” button.

 

Step 3.

Repeat this process and you will see the payments becoming explained one after another.

 

Step 4.

When ready click the “Create Transactions” button, if successful the payment will appear as “explained”.
