Set up a new client

Steps

  1. Switch to the Partner module within Clear Books
  2. Select Add Client
  3. Enter the client's business name and register the business
  4. Invite the client into their account

To set up a new client in Clear Books please follow the steps below.

Step 1.

Go to the “Partner” section within your Clear Books partner account (i.e. the account you set up for your business).

 

Step 2.

Select the “Add Client” tab.

 

Step 3.

Enter the client’s business name

The client will then need to be registered in the same way that all new businesses are registered on Clear Books; by completing standard sign up details such as VAT scheme.

 

Step 4.

Invite the client into their business.  Select the client’s newly created business from the drop down box to the top right of Clear Books, then go “Home > Users” and click “Invite User.”

The client will now need to except the email invite. Please ask your client to check their spam or junk email box if the email is not in their inbox.
