The Clear Books dashboard

The dashboard is the central control panel for the Clear Books accounting system. The dashboard provides an overview of key financial data, links to common tasks and a getting started check-list for new users to Clear Books.

Sales & customers

View the total due from all customers. Click on the amount due for a detailed list of unpaid customer invoices.

Purchases & suppliers

View the total owed to all suppliers. Click on the amount owed for a detailed list of unpaid supplier invoices.

Bank accounts

View the balance on each of your bank accounts. Click on a balance for the relevant bank statement.

Financial reports

Here you can quickly view your company reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.

Expenses

Here you will find a summary of the company’s expenses

VAT

This shows the VAT currently owed or due to HMRC

Petrol

The petrol module allows your company to find the cheapest petrol before travel.

To customise the dashboard to show or hide dashboard widgets click on “Customise Dashboard” at the bottom of the Dashboard page.
