Reset your Clear Books account data

Steps

  1. Navigate to "Settings > Reset"
  2. Enter password "resetnow"
  3. Click Reset

You can reset your Clear Books account if you have been trialing the system and want to start afresh.

Resetting your Clear Books account will delete all accounting data, however, your customers, suppliers, projects and bank accounts will be retained.

Additionally, your data is backed up prior to an account reset should it need to be recovered.

Step 1.

Navigate “Settings > Reset”.

Step 2.

Once on the reset page you will need to enter the start and end date for your accounting year after the reset.

What the Fields Mean

Start Date.

Enter the new accounting period start date for your reset account.

End Date.

Enter the new accounting period end date for your reset account.

Password

Please enter the password “resetnow” to reset your account.

Step 3.

Once the details are correctly entered click Reset.
