Configuring Webpost

Steps

  1. Register, download & Install Webpost from here (please use this link so we can track you).
  2. Navigate to a quote or an invoice in Clear Books
  3. In the print settings make sure the printer is set up to print to either the Webpost 3.0 Black or Webpost Colour printer
  4. Navigate to the Webpost Despatch manager via the Webpost Icon
  5. Click on the first job in the print queue
  6. If the address cannot be verified click on the data verification button and enter the recipients post code
  7. Save and Send

 
Below is an example of how to use Webpost to print an invoice in Clear Books.

Step 1.

Please register and install Webpost using the installation wizard. Register here (please use this link so we can track you).

Step 2.

Navigate to “Sales > Invoices” and click on the “PDF” invoice required to print and send.

Step 3.

Click “File” on the menu bar and Print.

In the Print Settings, change the name of the printer in the drop down list to either Webpost 3.0 Black & White or Webpost 3.0 Colour and click OK.

Step 4.

Navigate to the Webpost icon at the top of the screen and click on the despatch manager. Despatch manager can also be found in “Start > All Programs > Webpost > Despatch Manager”.

Step 5.

Highlight the job required to print in the printer queue. The address cannot be verified due to Webpost being unable to read the charachters in “PDF” format. To rectify this click on the “Data Verification button”.

Step 6.

Enter the Postal Code/ZIP into the box and Save. This will provide Webpost with all the details they need for their own records.

Highlight the print job and Send. The invoice will now be printed and sent to the recipient via Webpost.
