Dear Customers,

I wanted to provide a quick and immediate update to the problems we have been suffering with our service.

The problem we experienced on Friday resurfaced last night and this morning. Our engineers have been working to resolve and they believe they have identified the key issue and fixed it.

However, we cannot be 100% sure at this stage and are still monitoring carefully. We are also setting up a temporary fall back server should the same incident occur again.

Once we are fully stable we will provide a more detailed report on what happened, why, what we are doing about it and when.

Again we are sincerely sorry for the disruption caused.

Thanks for your continued support,

Tim

  1. “Temporary fall-back server “?

For a robust SaaS service, it needs to be a permanent fall-back server.

  2. Absolutely Tim – we will be providing an update on the long term solutions shortly.

  3. Looks like there is a DNS issue, I cant seem to resolve secure.clearbooks.co.uk… just dropped a few minutes ago.

  4. Hi James,

Ok it seems to be working over here.

Sounds like you are technical – if so please could you email support@catn.com with a tracert?

    Thanks

    Tim
