I started Clear Books six years ago with some friends who I used to work for. I hadn\u2019t been in contact with them for years but the relationship quickly rekindled around the idea of cloud accounting software, and Clear Books was born.<\/p>\n<p>Networking starts in your team. Our first employee joined in 2010 and we\u2019ve now grown to more than 40. We\u2019ve mostly grown organically through recommendations from existing employees. This personal connection has been crucial where recruiting mistakes can prove costly for small businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Cast your \u2018net\u2019work far and wide. Through networking and attending industry events I\u2019ve met advisors, shareholders, partners, customers and suppliers that I would never have come across had I been sitting in front of a computer screen instead.<\/p>\n<p>So if you\u2019re free on 6th February, join us at the Clear Books Community Exhibition (CBCE).
