I\u2019m Sheila, or you can call me Shu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does your role at Clear Books entail?<\/strong><b><br \/>\n<\/b>I\u2019m a graphic designer, so most of the time I\u2019m making our publications, marketing website and application look consistent with the Clear Books\u2019 brand using typography and by drawing illustrations.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m also a scrum master for one of our work cells where I facilitate the running of some projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In your opinion, what is the best time-saving Clear Books feature?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our 3 main applications &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clearbooks.co.uk\/apps\/accounts\">Accounting<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clearbooks.co.uk\/apps\/hr\">HR <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clearbooks.co.uk\/apps\/payroll\">Payroll<\/a> &#8211; are all integrated and accessible from one single login page. This can be a real time saver for customers as information is shared between each app. Us Clear Books employees get to use the software internally, so I book days off, get paid and submit expenses all from one Clear Books login.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s the most exciting thing your team are working on at the moment?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The UX improvements that we are working on is the most exciting for me. We are currently working on making the application as easy to use as possible by revising the ideal user workflows. It\u2019s always very rewarding to know what you are working on will improve customers experience with Clear Books.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What apps and tools can\u2019t you live without and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I use the project management tool Atlassian Jira everyday and I\u2019m finding it an excellent tool for planning and keeping track of the team\u2019s tasks. There is a lot to oversee as a scrum master so using Jira is a very organised way to keep on top of everybody\u2019s varied schedules and tasks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When you\u2019re not working at Clear Books, what do you enjoy doing?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll find me in the garden tending to the flower beds and vegetable patches accompanied by my cat Custard when I\u2019m not at working in the office &#8211; especially now that it\u2019s summer and the sun is shining!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who are you?
