The Data Export Tool allows you to export your accounting data to another system in CSV format. CSVs can be used in Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice Calc, and iWork Numbers.
Using the export tool is simple
- You’ll find it on the main menu under “Tools > Export”.
- We currently support one file format: CSV (which stands for Comma Separated Variables). This is the simplest spreadsheet format, and it works with Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice Calc, and iWork Numbers.
- You can download the reports for any accounts year that you have set up on Clear Books.
- If you tick the Download File option, the CSV will be downloaded by your browser. Otherwise it is opened within the browser for you to view.
