Accounting software accreditation

Clear Books Accreditation Banner

Clear Books Accounting is accredited by ICB, and ACCA.

Third party independent verification of Clear Books Accounting is important to Clear Books. The software accreditation we have received from the ICB is a validation of our accounting system from industry experts.

Clear Books is also an ACCA approved employer.

ICB Accreditation Logo

The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB)

In May 2009 Clear Books Accounting was accredited by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.

The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers is the largest bookkeeping institute in the world. It promotes and maintains the standards of bookkeeping as a profession, through the establishment of a series of relevant qualifications and the award of grades of membership that recognise academic attainment, working experience and competence.

Summary

A clear comprehensive package, representing value for money for small business owners and bookkeepers starting out. Clear Books seem to be improving the software constantly via customer feedback and suggestions.

ACCA Approved Employer Logo

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Approved Employer

In October 2014, Clear Books became an ACCA Gold Level Approved Training Centre.

ACCA is a global accounting body with over 170,000 qualified accounting members and more than 400,000 student trainees across 180 countries.

Being recognised for this prestigious accreditation is a great achievement for any company, especially a growing startup, and we’re delighted that it will allow our accounting students at Clear Books to utilise ACCA to fast track their professional development. This will in turn benefit Clear Books customers, as our support team will be even better placed to handle any complex accounting queries they may have.

Summary

The process of becoming an approved employer is based on various factors such as internal review processes, funding towards training and examinations, as well as the environment for learning and mentoring. With the new accreditation and all of these aspects in place, we will continue to ensure that training is a key part of our company and employee development.

Summary

Given its target market, Clear Books is a well designed, Internet based, accounting system that has been competently written and is supported by Clear Books plc and through a network of authorised suppliers. The system ledger design incorporating Sales, Purchase, and General Ledgers together with Stock list and quantity in stock provides accuracy and a facility to produce audit trails and a limited number of standard reports. These cannot be amended by the user, but data can be copied to spreadsheets for reporting purposes. The system makes good use of the Internet by providing facilities for emailing documents to customers and suppliers and for linking to online banking.
