As you might have seen, we recently ran a Clear Books Clinic for our customers to learn more about how to make the most of their Clear Books account.

Some attendees suggested that the next one should be even more interactive, so we’d like to present the first ever Clear Books Workshop!

This session will help you understand the basics of bookkeeping and answer some of the questions you’ve always wanted to ask but didn’t want to bother your accountant with. You’ll learn how to efficiently balance the books and master new processes, as well as chatting to our experts about all things Clear Books.

The full structure of the day will be as follows:

Workshop 1 – Introduction to business bookkeeping

Who’s it for?

Any business owner who wants to get a proper introduction to the bookkeeping side of their business. Whether you’re new to managing a business’s finances or have been muddling along for sometime, this session will give you confidence in the theory behind keeping the books balanced, double entry bookkeeping and debits and credits. Even if you already work with an accountant but want to get a bit of insight into how it works, this session is for you!

Workshop 2 – Making the most of Clear Books

Who’s it for?

If you’ve been using Clear Books for a while but haven’t yet had a proper introduction, then you may find some essential gems are waiting for you! Or if you’ve only recently made the leap to cloud accounting from spreadsheets or desktop software, this session will help you adjust and make the most of the handy new processes cloud brings to businesses. Either way — this slot will help you learn how to save time when doing your books.

Clinic – Round table session with ten other businesses

Who’s it for?

Anyone can join this session! Our Clear Books experts will be on hand to help answer any questions you have on the system. Each attendee can ask one key question about Clear Books, which will be answered by one of our our experts. All attendees will be invited to chip in to share their knowledge and help each other learn something brand new! The session will be facilitated by our resident consultant Paul Scholes, an accountant with over 30 years experience, and our CFO, Suzy Kerton.

And if that hasn’t convinced you — lunch is on us!
