Duncan Knox from Sponsorcraft has given us an insight into how they keep team spirit alive:

‘At Sponsorcraft, we believe that an open forum where everyone can be heard is essential to making everyone feel like they are part of a team. Every day at 11am we have a short, 10-minute meeting, and everyone has to stand! This encourages openness, but also has the added benefit of keeping our Marketing Director awake. We also have a team lunch every Wednesday.  All-you-an-eat curry is not conducive to a productive afternoon, but is a great way for us to chat about something other than work, and it doesn’t cut into anyone’s personal time. Oh, and we love to celebrate birthdays! Whether it’s a team-member’s or the company’s, we eat too much cake and open (cheap) bubbly before noon – a requirement of all great teams!’

Sponsorcraft brings crowdfunding to the education sector, offering universities, colleges, schools, and their students and staff an accessible, alternative method to obtain social funding for their ideas and projects.

How do you create and nurture team spirit? Got any impressive birthday cakes, celebrations or socials that you have had in your office? Send us pictures/videos to marketing@clearbooks.co.uk to be featured.
