We’re always reviewing how we can best support our customers, and we’ve recently made the decision to temporarily remove the ‘live chat’ support option for Clear Books users.

There are two reasons for this:

  • The chat tool we currently use has no ‘queuing’ facility, which means customers don’t know how long they may have to wait for a support agent to be available
  • We’ve recently hired additional support team members, including a support accountant, but are continuing to look for new people to join the team. In the meantime, we’ve made the decision to focus our resources on phone and email support to ensure we are able to respond to all queries as quickly as possible

We hope you understand our reasons for making this change, and we will continue to strive to offer the best possible service to our customers. We’ll let you know as soon as we have any updates on the live chat returning to Clear Books.
