We recently spoke to several of our valued customers to find out what it is they like about cloud accounting and Clear Books. In this case study, we sat down with Riz Wasti, Director of 2E Accountants Ltd.

My name is Riz Wasti – I’m a Chartered Management Accountant. I run a small management accounting practice based in Clapham. We have just over 60 clients who rely on our very talented team to look after their accounts.

How has Clear Books helped you and your practice?

We’re very happy with Clear Books – it has made our life very simple. It didn’t take us very long to get to grips with the system. It’s very easy and has a user friendly interface, and as an accountant you know what you are looking for. There are so many features that have simplified processes for us. For example, for the Flat Rate Scheme it has a system to automatically deal with this. There are many popular online accounting softwares out there that still don’t handle very well when it comes to VAT and UK issues.

Are there any other Clear Books features you find particularly useful?

It also automatically deals with reverse charge issues, and you can retrospectively run reports for aged debtors and aged creditors. Again, there are some softwares out there that can’t do that. With other features, like bank modules, you can very easily upload a bank statement and explain the bank statement. Clear Books has a very good feature for journal entries, whereas there are other softwares out there where the journal entries aren’t very good.

What do you think is the best thing about Clear Books?

In today’s world time is everything. We have clients who will be doing work on Clear Books. such as raising an invoice for their customers, and if they have an issue to discuss they can quickly call us and we can go into their Clear Books account and resolve their issue.

How do you find the level of support you receive from Clear Books? Clear Books support is very helpful – they are always quick to respond, they listen to us and they resolve our issues. In the past we have been able to actually suggest things to them and they have added those features into Clear Books, so we see that responsiveness and we really like that.

Would you recommend Clear Books? We would recommend Clear Books to other practices and other businesses. We use Clear Books ourselves, and as I said earlier it’s one of the best softwares out there.
