You may have noticed that on our new website, we’ve slightly adjusted the names of our applications. We wanted to make sure all customers were clear on which name refers to each app.

When we started out as a company, we offered one product – a cloud accounting application. Therefore the name of the company, and of the application, was Clear Books.

As we grew as a company, we also introduced Payroll and HR applications to our customers and so this created some confusion as to what ‘Clear Books’ referred to.

We’ve now simplified the way we refer to each application on our website:

  • Clear Books is now referred to as Accounting
  • Staff Room is now referred to as HR
  • Open Payroll is now referred to as Payroll

We hope this makes things clearer for you, and makes it even easier to find the exact applications you need on our homepage!

  1. Like the new names but this has not been updated in the apps themselves so it still has all the confusing names which now no longer match what your selling via the website 🙁
