Our lovely Accounting Partner Robert Walker of Walker & Co. Accountants will be playing a NINE HOUR tennis match this Friday for Children in Need. He has been inspired by the fantastic weight loss he has achieved by playing tennis (over 50lbs in just 12 weeks!!!) and he has decided to use his new found talent to give something back and raise as much money as he can for Children in Need!

In his words:

‘It is that time of year again, when I sit back with a bottle of wine and admire the courage of those on Children in Need on Friday night and think I really must do something and yep I never do.

Well I have just been given the opportunity to play in a nine hour tennis match at David Lloyd between 9am and 6pm this Friday under match conditions for Children in Need. I do like this charity, not only for the work they do, but also that every penny goes to the charity and nothing is wasted on admin. It seemed a great idea to play tennis at first and I am sure I will enjoy the first 3-4 hours, not so sure re the next 5-6 hours!!

So if you can spare anything I would be really grateful.  If I am honest I would love to raise a lot of money, but also understand how difficult it is, so if you can that would be fantastic and if you can’t that is absolutely fine too.

So thank you for reading this and if you are part of a large organisation, if you can badger your boss/director/colleague that would be brilliant too…..’

If you would like to sponsor him, pleased drop me an email to emma@clearbooks.co.uk and I will let you know how to do so!
