Clear Books Limited, the authors of cloud accounting software Clear Books, cloud payroll software Open Payroll and cloud HR software Staff Room, today announced that its Managing Director, Tim Fouracre, has been elected to the General Council of BASDA (Business Application Software Developers Association – www.basda.org).

BASDA is the not-for-profit trade body providing representation and information on common needs and opportunities for the industry. BASDA’s focus is on providing support to those delivering finance, accounting, taxation, HR, Payroll and interoperability solutions

Fouracre was voted onto the General Council at BASDA’s annual conference and AGM on 21 May 2013 and will serve as an elected council member for three years.

Tim Fouracre commented, “Sitting on the General Council gives me an opportunity to bring to BASDA a slightly different business software development perspective. I am a Chartered Accountant who also developed the Clear Books cloud accounting solution. I am looking forward to representing the views of fast growing small businesses and cloud vendors.”
