We have had lots of positive feedback about all of the new features that have been released over the past couple of months. Clear Books Facebook fans have been given the chance to see new features before they are released and give us their feedback whilst features are still at the development stage.

If you would like to know what is up and coming before everyone else, as well as have the chance to mould the features yourself, all you need to do is like our Facebook page.

Here’s what’s new and improved in Clear Books so far this month:

Custom Locking Periods

You are now able to define your own custom locking periods that don’t correspond directly to a financial reporting period. To do this, choose “Settings > Periods > Locking Periods”.

Quotes

The “Quotes” area has been improved to enable you to monitor the quote process more effectively. You can now mark quotes as accepted, rejected or invoiced as well as draft or complete. Thus meaning you know exactly what stage each quote is at. To check this out, head to “Sales > Quotes”.

Global Attachments

You now are able to attach documents to emails sent to your customers through Clear Books. Not only that, you are also able to save global attachments so that they can be automatically attached just by ticking a box. If this is a feature you have been waiting for, head to “Sales > Email > Attachments” to get started uploading your global attachments.

Please let us know if you have any questions or feedback about any of our new features.

  1. Emma,

The attachment is a great feature & one that I was not aware of. It is useful for sending T&C’s however the restriction of a 1MB file attachments does reduces some of it uses. As an electrician some of the work I carry out requires an electrical certificate to be issued which is often 3MB. It would be great to send this to the customer with their invoice…..any plans to increase the file size ?
Quote dashboard change is great too.

    Keep up the good work

    regards,
